
Empathetic Focusing Trauma Training
Training Course Introduction
Through classroom lectures, life demonstrations, role-playing and supervision of trainees’ videos to enhance participants’ sensitivity to bodily sensations, and learn how to create an environment without criticism, understanding, and acceptance, so that the focuser will be safe enough to explore self and internal resources.
Training structure:
9:00 am to 4:30 pm One day training every month 9:00 am to 4:30 pm

Practicum hours:
25 hours as a Focuser + 25 hours as a Listener
** During this period, participants must be able to arrange Focusing practice with another participant in person or online according to their preferences every week. Participant will continue to receive timely professional feedback from the trainer at each stage, which can be used in subsequent practices.
Training focus:
Practice and closely supervise participants' Focusing skills:

Conduct in small groups to enrich learning

Increase awareness of the body sensations

Develop empathy listening skills through focusing practices

Practice focusing skills in a safety containment

Practicum supervision, after each level of training is completed,

there will be a team supervision response the progress of the

participant at each stage of learning
After completing one year of training and evaluation, participant will be awarded the "Proficiency as Focusing Partner" (PFP) qualification by the International Focusing Institute. This is for those who wish to continue learning/experiencing in Focusing and hope to accumulate more Focusing experience as their first goal.
